This week is dedicated to writing and recording a song for journalist / educator, Grace Lim's UWO class and community project, "Beyond First Impressions". This project teaches students about the benefits of developing self awareness, curiosity for other people, and an ability to connect with others. As in all of Grace Lim's projects, students receive a few tools for unearthing other peoples personal stories, and in the process, expand upon their own. Beyond First Impressions hopes to raise awareness and interest around the role that individuals can play in creating their own, more vibrant communities.
